The sentence concerning the staff of Department of Agency for civil service affairs and fight corruption is pronounced

On January 28 of the current year in Aktau city court the sentence on criminal case on E.Ospanov's charge of commission of crime provided by the Art. 311 p. 4 item "d" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (acceptance of bribes more than once, further CC), and also N. Ikhsanova and Zh. Kurazova committed for trial according to Art. 313 p.1 (mediation in bribery) is pronounced

It will be recalled that E.Ospanov was accused by preliminary investigation bodies that being the head of Department of Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for civil service affairs and fight corruption on Mangistau region, repeatedly earned a reward for positive results of testing of candidates for civil service. Defendants N. Ikhsanova and Zh. Kurazova that being, one - the deputy head of Department, and the second - the head of office of human resource management Department, promoted in bribery to the taker of bribe and bribe givers.

E.Ospanov is found by a sentence of Aktau city court guilty according to the Art. of 366 p. 3 i. 4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and sentenced to 7 years of deprivation of liberty in penitentiary settlement of a general regime, with confiscation of personally belonging property, with deprivation of the right to hold positions in bodies of public service for a period of 7 years, according to the Art. 41 p. 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (in former edition).

On one count E.Ospanov is acquitted for failure to prove a charge.

H. Ikhsanova and Zh. Kurazova are found guilty according to Art. 313 p.1 of CC RK and to everyone has been imposed the punishment in the form of a penalty at a rate of 700 monthly calculation index in the sum of 1 387 400 tenge, with deprivation of the right to hold positions in bodies of public service for a period of 1 year.

The sentence didn't enter into force.
