The North-Kazakhstan Regional Court discussed the application of environmental legislation

The round table was attended by judges, representatives of the Prosecutor's Office, the Department of Ecology and Limited Liability Partnerships.

Opening the event the acting chairman of the Regional Court Bakhyt Kasseinov said: "The issues of environmental protection and sound use of natural resources give rise to a complex and multifaceted paradigm of problems. Their solution is associated with the regulation of the relationship between man and nature, their subordination to a certain system of regulations, instructions and rules. Such a system is established in the legislative order in the republic ".

In their speeches, the judges of the Specialized Inter-District Economic Court and Court No. 2 of Petropavl Kulnar Massimova and Arailym Zhanatkyzy spoke about the specifics of the application of environmental legislation.

A prosecutor of the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office Aidos Kenbeilov drew attention to some collisions in the environmental legislation.

According to the representative of the Department of Ecology Dastan Zhukenov, in the second half of this year 18 nature users had been presented the orders for compensation of damage, 1,699,971 tenge was collected. There was a claim to the court against 1 nature user for collecting of 1,354,388 tenge as compensation for damage to the environment. The court sued the lawsuit.

At the end of the event, the participants adopted the appropriate recommendations for developing of the common approaches to solve the problem issues arising in law enforcement.
