Judges of Akmolinsk region took part in the international workshop

From 4th to 24th of September, 2015 judges of Akmolinsk region took part in the international workshop on cooperation of SCO member states in the field of international criminal justice. In the event, which was held in Shanghai (China), the chairman of Bulandy district court Rinat Shakuanov and chairman of the specialized inter-district criminal court Bauyrzhan Baymurzin took part in the event.

Workshop participants listened to more than a dozen reports on the topic of economic development zone Silk Road, work of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, international co-operation and criminal law, criminal procedure, and so on.

On occupations professional lecturers told about the structure of judicial system of China, an order of consideration of criminal, civil and administrative cases. It was noted that the People's Republic of China seeks for reduction of application of punishment practice in the form of the death penalty, and also that criminal legal proceedings of China guarantee the rights of foreign citizens.

The Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan pays a close attention to matters of expansion of judicial authorities’ cooperation of SCO member states in the sphere of criminal justice, and also all contractual obligations between SCO countries.
