The court pronounced a sentence upon causing grave bodily harm of the teacher by the student

Minor V. is found by a sentence of specialized inter-district juvenile court of Akmola region guilty of commission of crime, provided by the Article 103 ch.2 the item “h” of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan for deliberate causing grave bodily harm of the teacher from hooligan motives. By the court verdict B. imposed sentence in the form of imprisonment for a period of five years with serving of punishment in an educational colony of a general regime.

The prosecutor’s claim of Kokshetau city to V. about compensation of expenses incurred by the state on treatment of the victim is satisfied.

The representative’s claim of the victim to V. about collecting the moral damage is satisfied partially. It is collected in favor of the victim 1 000 000 (one million) tenge.

The private ruling to Department of education of Akmola region for acceptance of the appropriate measures upon the violation of the law, the reasons and conditions promoting commission of a criminal offense is issued.

According to case papers, the student of the higher technical school of Kokshetau city during lessons hit the teacher in area of the face. From the received blow the teacher fell, hit the head a concrete floor and went faint. Therefore the victim suffered a serious injury.
