Having considered the materials against two Uzbek citizens the Ulytau District Court of the Karagandy Region found them guilty of committing an administrative offense under part 2 of Article 517 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses.

According to the materials of the case the signs of an offense were observed in the actions of these foreign persons that were expressed in staying in Kazakhstan without registration with the internal affairs agencies beyond the deadlines or living not at the address specified at registration as well as non-compliance with the rules of transit passage on the territory of the republic.

These citizens fully recognized the fact of the offense and confirmed the circumstances of the case set out in the protocol in the court. Repenting of what had done they asked not to strictly punish them or expel from the territory of the republic in view of the fact that they did not have the opportunity to pay a fine and to appoint a minimum term of arrest.

The court appointed the offenders a sentence of arrest for a period of 2 days.

The court decision has not entered into legal force.
