A civil servant was convicted to considerable fine in Zhambyl region

In the district court named after T.Ryskulov completed the trial of the criminal case against the chief of department of housing and communal services, passenger transport and highways of the district akimat S. Myrzahanov. He was accused of abuse of powers and forgery.

In 2011 S.Myrzahanov, being an office holder, during the public procurement illegally entered into contracts with the contractor for the development of design estimate documentation for construction of the landfill for solid-waste in Kulan village T.Ryskulov district. Later S. Myrzahanov unreasonably changing the form of purchased works, without obtaining the opinion of the state examination, signed false acts of work performed. On account of the contracting organization LLP "Irol" was listed 6 000 000 tenge.

 T.Ryskulov district court found the defendant guilty of committing of a criminal offense stipulated by Part. 2 Art. 307 (abuse of powers), p. 2, Art. 314 (forgery) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was imposed a punishment in the form of a fine in the amount of 3.964 million tenge. The convict must pay the fine within one month.

The sentence has not entered into legal force.
