Chairmen of courts took part in the program «Uakyt.kz»

On 9 June 2014 the chairman of Saransk municipal court B.Imashev and chairman of Oktyabr district court №3 of the city Karaganda O.Omarov took part in the program «Uakyt.kz» on the TV channel «Kazakhstan-Karagandy».

The subject of the program – issues of application of a mediation procedure.

By the quantity of considered cases with the application of a mediation procedure specified courts have the best indicators among courts of the region.

Saransk municipal court in the procedure of mediation in 2013 considered 24 criminal cases on medium-gravity crimes and 9 civil cases. Within 5 months 2014 23 criminal cases and 4 civil cases had been considered.

District court №3 of Oktyabr district considered 29 civil cases and 1 criminal case with application of mediation.

For the purpose of execution of the Law RK «On mediation» chairmen of specified courts on places jointly with local akims hold a systemic work by explaining the procedure of applying mediation.

In the course of the program advantages and possibilities of mediation were said, such as: minimization of a risk of a public announcement of a conflict, informality and flexibility of the procedure, tolerance, consensus achieving of a process, economy of time and money, by reducing expenses and other.
