In Atyrau, the court recovered alimony from son on Mother's maintenance

Atyrau City Court considered the civil case at the legal claim of a citizen B.to her son C. on the recovery alimony for her maintenance.

Plaintiff motivated her demands that surgery was made on her heart, expensive medicine were prescribed. Currently she is living with a spouse, both are retired, but received a pension for the purchase of expensive medicines is insufficient.

The Court found that citizen B. is the mother of two adult children, a son and daughter, but the daughter place of residence is unknown, the son C. voluntarily hasn’t given any material assistance to the plaintiff.

Court, guided by p. 1 Art.145 Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Marriage (Matrimony) and Family", which regulates that able-bodied adult children must support disabled parents in need of assistance and care for them, ruled to recover from her son on Mother's maintenance each month , the rate of monthly calculation index since September 5, 2016.
