There was a regional conference devoted to the 550 anniversary of the Kazakh khanate in Kyzylorda city

Today there was a regional scientific and practical conference " Kasym Khan’s Valorous Way " dated for the 550 anniversary of the Kazakh khanate in Kyzylorda city in the Palace of students of Kyzylorda State University named after Korkyt Ata.

This action is organized for preparation of the international scientific conference "Phenomenon of the Kazakh State — the Kazakh Right and Fair Jurisprudence Kazakh Biys", planned by the Supreme Court in Astana City for September of the current year.

The judge of the Supreme Court Baghlan Makulbekov, akim of Kyzylorda region Kyrymbek Kosherbayev, chairmen and the judges of Atyrau, Mangistau, Aktobe, Kyzylorda and West Kazakhstan regional courts, representatives of law enforcement agencies, scientists, members of veterans council of region, activists of youth communities and members of the mass media took part in the conference.

The main objective of conference consists in pronouncement of the fair decisions based on Kasym khan’s valorous way, strengthening of patriotism through acquaintance with heritage of centuries-old Kazakh statehood.

Opening action, the judge of the Supreme Court B. Makulbekov read the welcome address of the Chairman of the Supreme Court Kayrat Mami to conferees. In his address, K. Mami noted that among the cities of the earth the historical Syganak city has the special importance. In 1468 this city was the first capital of the Kazakh khanate. Such cities as Sauran, Sozak, Otyrar, Turkestan, Zhent, Barshynkent located in lower reaches of the Syr-Darya River had a big role in formation and development of economy of the Kazakh khanate. A main objective of carrying out regional conference to which judges are invited, lawyers, historians and scientific ethnographers of regions, is studying of history of creation of our state, education of patriotic spirit at youth.

At conference the historical bases of creation of the Kazakh khanate, actual problems of government, national values which are legal education a place and biys role in the Kazakh khanate, development of today's judicial system based on experience of pronouncement of fair biys decisions were discussed.

Following the results of action there will be published collection of conference materials.
