Issues of mediation were discussed on the channel «Kazakhstan-Aktobe»

The judge-coordinator of Aktobe regional court on the judicial mediation Bakhyt-Zhamal Almatova and judge of the court of the city Aktobe Gulnar Ibraimova spoke at the TV program dedicated to issues of mediation on the channel «Kazakhstan-Aktobe».

Mediators of Aktobe region and representatives of prosecutor’s office authorities and initiative group took part in this program.

In the course of the program the basic issues of the institute of mediation were discussed – powers of a mediator, role of professional and non-professional mediators in a judicial process, ways of an extensive use of mediation in a criminal judicial procedure, realization of a pilot project on a judicial mediation and other issues.

Participants of the program in conclusion came to the conclusion of a necessity of strengthening interaction between law-enforcement and judicial authorities, as well as mediators on settlement of disputes and development of a mediation institute.
