In Atyrau regional court, the judges of the region were trained in the stylistics of the presentation of judicial acts

The Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhakyp Asanov paid special attention to enhancing the judges’ competence at an expanded meeting on the outcome of the administration of justice for 2017. Drawing up a judicial act in an accessible language is one of the important areas of the "Seven Stones of Justice" program.

Today, on the basis of the Training Center of the Regional Court was organized a training lecture on stylistics and speech culture for judges of the region.

Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Zharkyn Kenzhebaeva was invited as a lecturer.

The training was conducted in two directions: the stylistics and culture of the presentation of the judicial act in the state and Russian languages.

Как отметила модератор мероприятия, судья Гульнар Нуржигитова: «Судебный акт отражает авторитет судебной власти, поэтому должен составляться с учетом определенных языковых и стилистических особенностей. Основные требования к языку судебного решения – это простота изложения, отсутствие громоздких фраз и понятная терминология».

As the moderator of the event the judge Gulnar Nurzhigitova noted: "The judicial act reflects the judiciary authority, therefore it should be drawn up taking into account certain linguistic and stylistic features. The basic requirements for the language of judicial decision - it's simplicity of presentation, the absence of cumbersome phrases and clear terminology. "

In the course of her lecture, Zharkyn Kenzhebayeva dwelled on the methodology of compiling official documents and gave examples from foreign experience, where judges are trained to develop skills in writing solutions.

At the end of the event, the organizers noted that at present a pilot project is being implemented in the region to explain the decisions of the courts, and in connection with this, training in judicial oratory is planned in the region.
