In Atyrau, the ex-director of "Stroy Contract Group" was sentenced to 15 years of deprivation of liberty

Today, in specialized inter-district court on criminal cases of the Atyrau region pronounced the sentence against ex-director of "Story Contact Group" Oleg Pavlichenko.

The court found O.Pavlichenko involvement when he was director of LLP "Stroy Contact Group" to embezzlement of budget funds allocated for the gasification of settlements of Kyzylkoginsky and Kurmangazy districts of the Atyrau region. Thefts were carried out via the development of fictitious design and estimate documentation with obviously inflated prices, contracts with front companies at inflated the cost of services and cashing the above budget.

The court found O.Pavlichenko guilty under third part of Article 235 (participation in a criminal organization), part four of Article 176 (embezzlement of another’s entrusted property) of the Criminal Code and sentenced him to 15 years' imprisonment in a penal colony with confiscation of property and deprivation of the right to engage in entrepreneurial activity for a term of 4 years.

By the court verdict with O.Pavlichenko was recovered caused damage to the state in the amount of 14,994,816,082 tenge, as well as the state fee in the amount of 149 948 160 tenge.

The court verdict has not entered into legal force.
