Today, on the initiative of the South Kazakhstan regional court, a scientific and practical conference was held on the basis of a specialized inter-district criminal court, timed to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the institution of the jury trial in the country on: "The jury is a democratic basis in the administration of justice."
Judges of the specialized inter-district criminal court of Pavlodar region have developed Guidelines for consideration of criminal cases by jury.
A practical guide aimed at providing methodological assistance to judges in the mastery of knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality consideration of criminal cases with participation of jurors. The publication is interest for prosecutors, lawyers, teachers and students of legal profile high schools.
Methodical material consists of the following sections:
S. defendant together with his friends went home to his acquaintance at whom the grandmother has died. There the victim K. struck with the head of one of his friends. Then they went outside and began to fight. At this time S. defendant pulled out a sawn-off shotgun from his car and 2 times shot in the victim and after that he started running away 2 more times shot him in the chest and leg, thereby inflicted serious bodily injuries. Thanks to timely medical assistance the victim was still alive.
In specialized inter-district court on criminal cases of the North Kazakhstan region "the round table" on a subject: "Issues of high-quality drawing up the main and spare lists of candidates for jurors" with participation of representatives of bodies of prosecutor's office, Akim's administration of region and Petropavlovsk city, a regional psychoneurologic dispensary and the detoxication center took place.
