The Karatau District Court of Shymkent held an on-site consideration of the criminal case against the former district police inspector S., accused of committing an offense under Part 2 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code with the participation of the management and officers of the district police department.
In Egindykol district court of Akmola region criminal case against the chief physician and the chief accountant of Egindykol regional hospital is considered. They are accused of commission of crime, the Criminal code of the Republic of Kazakhstan provided by Article 176 part 4 item “b” (theft of another's property by a group of persons by prior agreement, with use of official position, in especially large scale).
On 8 July 2014 under the chairmanship of the judge of the appeal judicial board on criminal cases A.M.Nurbekov consideration of appeals on a sentence, which did not come into legal force, on a criminal case on facts of economic contrabandage of the so-called “Horgos case”, started. The session is in an open format.
Out of 45 convicted on this case 39 convicted appealed. One convicted withdrew his appeal.
