Judicial mediation

Today in the specialized inter-district economic court of South-Kazakhstan region there was a round table on a judicial mediation.

Judges of the regional court, district courts, representatives of the akimat of the city Shymkent, chiefs of organizations for public service, as well as professional mediators and mass media representatives participated in the event.

In the course of the round table issues of urgency, optimality, efficiency of the judicial mediation and its extensive propaganda among the population, level of execution at places of a pilot project by an opinion exchange between judges and professional mediators were discussed.

In his speech the chairman of the inter-district economic court of South-Kazakhstan region B.Dikhanbayev noted: “Courts of the city Shymkent within the frame of the pilot project, for April-May 2014, considered over 20 civil cases with application of the judicial mediation. Also the inter-district economic court considered 4 statements of claim. While considering the case parties came to a peaceful agreement by means of the judicial mediation”.

In completion of the round table for the purpose of propaganda of the pilot project participants were explained application of the judicial mediation in courts.
