A pilot project of the Supreme Court on the further development of reconciliatory procedures was presented in Uralsk

In Uralsk, there was a round table on: "Implementation of a pilot project for the introduction of pre-trial settlement of disputes (conflicts) in certain categories of disputes in the order of mediation."

The chairman of the regional court Bek Ametov, akim of the region Altai Kulginov and General Director of the Association of Mediators of Kazakhstan, coach-mediator Zhandildy Zhakupov took part in his work.

Heads of the Department of Internal Affairs, Justice, the Notary Chamber, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, the Bar Association, the Labor Inspection, the Department of Land Relations, the Inspectorate for Minors Affairs, the Education Department, the representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the Public Council of the Region, representatives of the municipal services, Banks, insurance companies, public associations, Centers of professional and non-professional mediators, other interested structures and the media are also invited to take part in its work.

In the course of the meeting the public was presented a pilot project of the Supreme Court on the introduction of pre-trial settlement of certain categories of disputes (conflicts) in the procedure of mediation to civil proceedings.

Speakers of the judiciary corps noted that the pilot project was launched in order to further develop the conciliatory procedures, which are attended by district and equivalent courts, considering civil cases, specialized inter-district economic courts and juvenile courts, as well as mediators. The categories of disputes (conflicts) on which it is necessary to apply the mediation procedure are voiced.

Zhundilda Zhakupov, General Director of the Association of Mediators of Kazakhstan, evaluated this project and noted its positive aspects, which, he said, would lead to a decrease in conflict in the society.

The participants of the round table supported the pilot project and expressed their readiness to implement it.
