There has been pronounced a sentence to ex-deputy of Abay district’s akim of the Karaganda region

Today the Abay district court pronounced a sentence concerning the former deputy of Abay district akim of the Karaganda region M. Bimagambetov.

M. Bimagambetov being the official committed the corruption crime under the Art. 307 p. 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (abuse of official powers by a person, who is empowered to fulfill state functions with a view of deriving profits and benefits for himself or other persons).

M. Bimagambetov is found guilty by court sentence and he was imposed sentence in the form of a penalty at a rate of 2000 MCI. He is deprived of the right to hold positions in the state organizations (in which authorized capital the share of the state makes more than 50%) for a period of 3 years.

Before entry of judgment into legal force the preventive measure in the form of pledge is left former.
