In the South Kazakhstan regional court they gave an assessment of the investigative judges’ activities

Chairman of the South-Kazakhstan regional court Nurserik Sharipov held a meeting of the Presidium of the regional court, where they gave assessment of the investigative judges’ activities to improve the quality and effectiveness of their work.

The investigative judges of the remote districts courts took part in the forum through videoconferencing.

N.Sharipov, noting that the Plan of Nation aimed at further ensuring the constitutional rights of citizens, was a great step in the development of the foundations of a democratic society, contributed to the expansion of the investigative judges’ powers. In this regard, their workload in comparison with 2015 last year doubled.

N.Sharipov stressed the special role of the institute of investigative judges in preserving the rights and freedoms of citizens, drew particular attention of investigative judges to the significance of the work carried out in this direction.

On the same day, there was a round table on: "The Institute of Investigative Judges - a guarantee of the preservation of constitutional rights human and citizen ", organized by the judicial division for Criminal Cases of the Regional Court. The chairman  of the division Z. Pirniyaz, the judges, representatives of the prosecutor's office, internal affairs agencies, investigative departments of the regional department of state revenues, the anti-corruption department, and the bar association took part in the round table.

Participants of the meeting discussed issues of improving the quality of materials submitted by investigation authorities and prosecutors to investigative judges during pre-trial proceedings.

At the end of the event, the participants took the unanimous decision on the need to jointly search for ways to resolve the emerging issues on the main aspects considered.
