Judges of Almaty and the Almaty region have been evaluated by the professional activity

May 12-19 of the current year, the Qualifications Commission of the Judicial jury conducted a planned assessment of Almaty city court judges’ professional activity, district and equivalent courts of Almaty and the Almaty regional court, district and equivalent courts of the Almaty region.

Assessment of professional activity shall be subject to the judges, the experience of judicial work which ranged from 5 to 20 years.

Based on the assessment from 120 acting judges of Almaty city court, district and equivalent courts of Almaty 114 are recognized relevant their position, the six judges recommended to increase the judge’s qualification and in a year to pass a re-evaluation.

Of the 73 acting judges of the Almaty regional court, district and equivalent courts of the Almaty region 67 - recognized relevant their position, the four judges recommended to improve the judge’s qualification and in a year to pass a re-evaluation, and the two - recommended transfer to another court, on the other specialization.

The Qualification Commission members of the Judicial jury when checking the knowledge of substantive and procedural legislation marked a high level of theoretical knowledge of the existing legislation by the judges of the Bostandyk district of Almaty city court S.Karakuzieva, the district court number 2 of the Bostandyk district of Almaty Sh.Ergalieva and the Karatalsk district court of the Almaty region Zh.Nusipova. The Qualification Commission members recommended them to enroll in the reserve to a higher position.

At the same time when assessing the professional activities the members of the qualification commission noted poor knowledge of the law provisions and low rates of quality of administration of justice 17 judges of Almaty courts and 6 judges of the courts of the Almaty region, who underwent an assessment with comments.
