It was pronounced a sentence against the investigator of DIA of the Talgar district

The Enbekshikazakh district court considered the criminal case against the investigator of DIA of the Talgar district, a senior police lieutenant E.Karimov.

E.Karimov is detained by officers of anti-corruption service when acceptance of a bribe of 130 000 tenge from citizen I. Ivanov. He was brought to trial on the fact of a traffic accident.

By sentence of the Enbekshikazakh district court E.Karimov is found guilty of committing a crime stipulated by Art. 366 Part 2 of the Criminal Code RK. He was sentenced to deprivation of liberty for a period up to 3 years with confiscation of property and lifelong deprivation of the right to hold positions in the public service.

The sentence has not come into legal force.
