The former chief of migration police of Balkhash City will pay to the Karaganda region a penalty of 1 million tenge

In Balkhash City court is considered criminal case concerning E.Tokmagambetov. Previously he held a position of the chief of migration police office of internal affairs department of Balkhash City of the Karaganda region.

From case papers follows that two immigrants from the Republic of Uzbekistan applied to E.Tokmagambetov for the work permit.

For the solution of the matter E.Tokmagambetov got a bribe in the amount of 20 000 tenge.

By court sentence dated 28^th of May 2015 E.Tokmagambetov is found guilty under Art. 366 p.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (acceptance of a bribe in the form of money). He was imposed a sentence in the form of a penalty in the amount of 1 000 000 tenge, with confiscation of property, lifelong deprivation of the right to hold the certain positions connected with fulfill of the state functions.

The court sentence didn't enter into force.
